We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage our shipping and receiving operations. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a background in warehouse operations, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3pm - 11pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and assign daily tasks to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Oversee secure loading/unloading of products to prevent damage, reporting and investigating any incidents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles for compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Enforce Allergen Control Program procedures for shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities.
- Manage accurate inventory of finished goods, ensuring proper documentation of lot codes and daily paperwork processing.
- Enforce HAZMAT storage and shipping guidelines in compliance with IATA, FAA, and DOT regulations.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Complete additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a 4-year college degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, with prior leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, employee safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Excellent math skills and proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Availability to work weekends as scheduled.
