Warehouse Customer Service Representative:
Hours: Monday-Friday 1st shift (Flexible start & end time)
Pay: $21 an hour
Location: Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Customer Service Representative to support daily warehouse and customer service operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, shipping, and inventory while coordinating closely with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and product availability via phone and email.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Schedule inbound and outbound freight appointments.
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips, and other warehouse documentation.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate shipment updates or delays to customers.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and customer complaints.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system.
- Assist with inventory inquiries, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation as needed.
- Maintain organized records and filing systems for shipping and customer documentation.
- Work closely with carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of customer service experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or shipping software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
