Tool Maker Position – Aerospace & Gas Turbine Industry
Precision Staffing seeks an experienced Tool Maker for a key client’s team in Mason, OH, available for 1st or 2nd shift. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity—apply today!
Details:
- Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Pay: $21-$34/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines: lathes, mills, grinders, and saws
- Interpret blueprints/CAD drawings to create and modify tools, fixtures, and parts
- Ensure product quality through precision measurements (micrometers, calipers)
- Document work in the ERP system and perform to AS9100 and NADCAP standards
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace; adhere to company policies
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Tool Making, preferably in aerospace manufacturing
- Education: High school diploma or GED; trade school/apprenticeship preferred
- Skills: Strong math (geometry/trigonometry), critical thinking, troubleshooting
- Physical: Able to lift 35 lbs, stand most of the shift, and use cranes/lifting equipment as needed
- Compliance: Must meet ITAR U.S. person requirements
