- Operate the company terminal truck to support the shipping and receiving of bulk goods (no CDL required).
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety checks on vehicles and equipment..
- Operate forklifts as needed.
- Complete required paperwork accurately during and at the end of each shift.
- Perform periodic and scheduled maintenance on hoses, oils, and tools.
- Assist inbound drivers with moving trailers into dock bays as needed.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Clear and effective communication skills (reading and writing).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely throughout the workday.
- Ability to troubleshoot system performance issues and identify safe, effective solutions.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have the physical ability to safely operate motorized vehicles including tow motors, forklifts, and railcar movers.
