Quality Control Technician
- Location: Erlanger, KY
- Pay: $22/hour
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and product specifications.
- Perform required quality analyses in accordance with defined procedures.
- Communicate any product quality concerns to Production Supervisors, Production Managers, the QC Manager and Supervisor, as well as Shipping and Customer Service personnel.
- Accurately log all test results and batch data into the I-Series (AS400) system and maintain all necessary documentation for compliance.
- Monitor production line equipment to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Conduct checks on metal detectors (CCP), magnets, and scales; perform Critical Control Point (CCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits.
- Assist in investigations related to foreign materials and product non-conformance issues.
- Perform batch setup verifications, assist in resolving setup discrepancies, and document all findings.
- Place products on hold when necessary and release them once issues are resolved.
- Reject non-conforming products and complete the necessary rejection forms, including root cause and corrective action analysis.
- Check allergen clean-out effectiveness as needed to prevent cross-contamination.
- Conduct Pre-Operational (Pre-Op) audits as required, especially after maintenance activities.
- Perform production scale checks and lab equipment calibrations according to the scheduled plan.
- Collect microbiological samples as required and manage micro-hold products accordingly.
- Complete special assignments as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
- Maintain the retain sample area and manage control sample documentation.
- Adhere to all GMP and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
- High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of related work experience preferred.
- Ability to operate quality control analysis equipment effectively.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Competent in using computers and handling data entry tasks.
- Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
