We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder - Ocean Import to join our team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process of importing goods via ocean freight, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulations. You will coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities for Freight Forwarder - Ocean Import:
- Oversee the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Prepare and submit required documentation such as commercial invoices and bills of lading.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and other legal requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to deliver outstanding service.
