Medical Filing Clerk Responsibilities:

• Collecting documentation from various sources
• Assessing and organizing documentation
• Destroying outdated files by following the companies standard protocol
• Scanning files and filing them to the correct location
• Executing authorized changes to filing system as needed
• Assisting with phone inquiries as needed
• Monitoring and resolving error cues as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in using the Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to use a PDF editor
