Position Details:
- Primary Location: Scottsbluff, NE
- Additional Regions: Assignments available in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and Nebraska
- Shift: 12-hour rotating days/nights, floating as needed
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Patient Population: Adult Med Surg
Facility Details:
- Bed Size: 158
- Trauma Level: Level II trauma center
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience in Med Surg (travel experience not required)
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state coverage
- BLS
- Preferred: ACLS
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans for medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, responding to changes in patient condition and reporting to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families, providing support and resources for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of patient care.
