We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance and engineering team. Shift: 6pm-6am (2-2-3-3 rotation)
Key Responsibilities for Electrical Maintenance Technician:
- Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and systems
- Diagnose and repair servo drives, motors, and machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot vision systems
- Work comfortably with electrical systems from 0 to 480 volts
- Interpret and work from wiring schematics and PLC programs
- Collaborate with management to support production goals and ensure safe operations
Technical Skills & Requirements for Electrical Maintenance Technician:
- Ability to read and understand PLC programs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, Allen Bradley)
- Familiarity with relay logic circuits, PMA and PID controllers, and MotoMan robotics
- Understanding of sensors, proximity switches, safety relays, and motor wiring
- Basic mechanical knowledge: hydraulics, pneumatics, and general machine operation
- Experience with Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus systems
- Comfortable using measurement devices accurately
Education & Experience for Electrical Maintenance Technician:
- Associate’s degree in electronics or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and training
- Lockout/Tagout, 5S, and basic plant safety training preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and hazardous waste procedures a plus
