We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products to meet production targets and maintaining high-quality standards. Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all assembly tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in line with customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely follow product build instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Use hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers to fasten components securely.
- Install and maintain electrical components, including switches and circuit breakers, within wiring harnesses.
- Adhere to established build standards and consistently achieve daily and weekly output goals.
- Support production goals, projects, and deliverables by collaborating with the team.
- Follow established escalation procedures for addressing quality and safety concerns.
- Comply with all safety protocols and use appropriate equipment and tools to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and quality control tools is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
