CNC Mill Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Lebanon, OH
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28–$32 per hour
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
A growing engineer-to-order, job shop manufacturing environment is seeking skilled CNC Mill Machinists for immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced machinists who enjoy complex setups, precision work, and non-production machining.
Shift Schedule
Flexible start/end times by department:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Mon–Fri)
CNC Mill Machinist Responsibilities:
- Perform CNC mill setups, machining, and in-process inspection per drawings and process documentation
- Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and engineering specifications
- Conduct First Article Inspection and dimensional verification
- Program/edit G & M code as needed
- Identify productivity or cost-reduction improvements
- Maintain equipment and perform routine machine maintenance
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Follow all shop safety procedures
Equipment Used:
- Toyoda FA800 Horizontal Machining Center (Fanuc 16i/M)
- Toyoda FV1565 Vertical Machining Center (Fanuc Oi-MD)
- Haas VF-1 & VF-3
- Hurco VMX 24 / 42 / 50
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years CNC mill machining in a job shop environment
- Must perform own part & tool setups (not operator-only)
- Proficient reading blueprints & tolerances
- G & M code familiarity
- Own inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Hurco controls preferred
- Ability to work independently and on a team
