Job Title: CNC Swiss Programmer

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45239
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Thursday (Four 10-hour days)

Position Overview:
Precision Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Swiss/Lathe Programmer to join a growing precision machining environment. The ideal candidate has experience programming, setting up, and running Swiss-style CNC machines and is capable of supporting complex part production with high accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate Swiss-style CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues, coordinating with engineers and operators as needed.
• Assist in introducing new parts and support quoting processes for new business.
• Transfer and download CNC programs to machine controls.
• Follow layout and setup procedures to properly arrange cutting tools and workholding devices.
• Provide instruction and guidance to operators on machine setup and operation.
• Complete daily maintenance routines and maintain 5S standards.
• Communicate work progress and status to management.
• Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Proven experience in Swiss CNC/Lathe programming and setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM and/or manual programming.
• Competency in blueprint reading, including GD&T.
• Ability to measure and inspect parts using precision gauges and instruments.
• Familiarity with various materials, tooling, and machining processes.
• Strong math skills, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical school certificate or degree in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
