A leading provider in the commercial printing and fulfillment industry is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team on 2nd shift (2:15pm - 10:45 pm) in Monroe, Ohio. Responsibilities for Cutter Operator:
- Operate industrial paper cutting equipment (preferably Saber cutters) to complete a variety of commercial print jobs
- Maintain accurate cutting measurements and ensure output quality meets specifications
- Read and follow job tickets, written instructions, and verbal directions
- Collaborate with manufacturing team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on cutting machines
- Accurately complete data and production records
- Follow all safety protocols and quality procedures, including ISO standards
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Cross-train and assist with special bindery and finishing projects as needed
Requirements for Cutter Operator:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating a cutter in a commercial printing environment
- Familiarity with Saber cutters strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret job specs, work instructions, and technical diagrams
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Basic computer skills (knowledge of PSI and/or Prestige is a plus)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and assist other departments if needed

- Ability to cut specialty projects like business cards, step books, and crossovers
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining cutting equipment
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proven track record of working in high-volume production environments
