The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery in line with established operation standards and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to detect defects, and adherence to safety protocols. You will also perform minor maintenance, machine adjustments, and use an overhead crane to manage raw materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press machinery according to Operation Standards and Work Instructions.
- Detect and report defective materials to the supervisor promptly.
- Conduct press operation safety checks at prescribed intervals.
- Perform minor maintenance and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Operate an overhead crane to stage steel coils at the press.
- Record production data accurately in the system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strict to all company safety requirements, including the use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) and safe job behaviors.
- Physical capability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand operation standards, job instructions, and product labels.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas efficiently.
