Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. This role focuses on dashboard development, KPI standardization, and data warehouse optimization within a manufacturing environment.
The position reports to the Director of FP&A and works closely with the CFO. This opening is due to an internal promotion and offers high visibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities for BI Analyst
- Build, maintain, and enhance PowerBI dashboards and standardized KPIs
- Partner with FP&A and the CFO to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with IT to develop curated datasets from the primary ERP
- Design and manage ETL processes for centralized data warehousing
- Clean, validate, and maintain data integrity across multiple sources
- Analyze large datasets and present insights to VP-level leaders
- Train cross-functional teams on BI tools and dashboards
- Continuously improve BI systems and reporting performance
Qualifications for BI Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of Data Analyst experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing & ETL
- Advanced experience with BI tools (PowerBI preferred; Tableau/Qlik acceptable)
- Experience with Python, R, or similar a plus
- Alteryx experience a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
