Job Responsibilities of Journeyman Electrician:
- Run EMT and Rigid conduit in accordance with project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Perform installation and final wiring of MCC, VFD, combo starters, motors, distribution boxes, control panels, lights, etc.
- Complete all required quality forms to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, and lifting a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Operate ladders and step ladders as necessary to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician::
- Minimum four years of experience as an electrician.
- Three to four years of technical school training preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in running EMT and Rigid conduit.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work first shift, full-time hours, with no travel required.
