Precision Staffing is seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join a reputable healthcare agency. In this role, you will provide quick and knowledgeable support to managers and associates, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of various workplace issues across both unionized and non-unionized settings.
Location: Remote
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: $24/hour
Responsibilities for Human Resources Specialist:
- Guidance & Consultation: Provide expert advice to managers, assisting with issue identification and resolution through strategic questioning and risk assessment.
- Policy Adherence: Offer HR guidance to ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and legal standards to reduce risks and promote a positive work environment.
- Coaching & Education: Coach managers on policy interpretation, collective bargaining agreements, employee behavior, and performance management for low to medium-risk issues.
- Research & Confidentiality: Stay updated on legal regulations, policies, and best practices, performing research as needed and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Conflict Resolution: Support managers in navigating challenging situations with effective conflict resolution and policy enforcement strategies.
- Investigation: Conduct investigations on low to medium-risk issues by developing plans, conducting interviews, and determining actions, collaborating with internal partners when necessary.
- Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders while handling complex situations objectively and ensuring confidentiality.
- Data Analysis: Use HR systems to capture, research, and analyze data, identifying trends and supporting risk assessment efforts.
Qualifications for Human Resources Specialist:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of HR experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, confidentiality in handling sensitive matters, and effective communication.
- Technical: Proficient in computer systems for data capture, research, and analysis.
- Remote Work Capability: Ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
