Medical Device Delivery Driver
Location: Lebanon, OH
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (1-hour unpaid break)
Position Summary
The Medical Device Delivery Driver is responsible for preparing, scheduling, and delivering medical inventory accurately and on time to support surgical and customer needs. This role is critical to ensuring healthcare providers have the equipment necessary to deliver quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize instrument sets and inventory for transport (deliveries and returns)
- Deliver and arrange instrument sets at customer facilities
- Review delivery and pickup schedules within the Surgery Management System (SMS)
- Read maps and follow optimized route plans to ensure timely deliveries
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport medical supplies
- Load, unload, and properly secure containers, materials, and products
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation
- Plan and organize daily workload to meet time-sensitive surgical schedules
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic servicing as needed
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of transportation vehicles
- Professionally address customer questions or concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Support and implement quality initiatives across the distributorship
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver’s license with a clean/good driving record required
- Strong interest in the medical device and/or orthopedic industry
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
