HR Operational Specialist - Remote - To those in OH, KY, FL, TX, IN, and MO.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Operational Specialist to support our Human Resources team. This role serves as a subject matter expert in HR systems and benefits administration, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to employees and HR partners. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday, UKG Dimensions, ServiceNow, and Hyland OnBase, as well as a strong understanding of HR processes, benefits, and retirement programs.

Pay: $26/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-time)

Work Arrangement: Remote to those who are based in Cincinnati, OH

Assignment Type:Temporary (through March 2026) with a Possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for HRIS platforms including Workday, UKG Dimensions, ServiceNow, and Hyland OnBase.
  • Understand how HR systems integrate and use this knowledge to support employees, resolve issues, test new processes, and troubleshoot system-related problems.
  • Manage benefit and retirement vendor files, including funding and error reports.
  • Complete HR-related processes in Workday.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation related to employment dates, benefits, and service records.
  • Maintain and safeguard confidential employee records; assist during audits and surveys.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, HR partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve inquiries involving plan interpretation and exceptions.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, including SLAs and KPIs.
  • Support seasonal HR initiatives, such as Annual Benefits Enrollment.
  • Work closely with COEs to understand support needs for programs and offerings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced skills are a plus).
  • Experience presenting or communicating with small groups via email or platforms like Zoom/Teams.
  • Familiarity with Workday, UKG Dimensions, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships is a plus.
  • A service-minded background (e.g., advocacy, social work, or HR support) is highly valued.
  • Previous experience in benefits administration or implementation is a plus.
  • Comfortable handling confidential employee information.
