Sewer – Production

Position Summary
The Sewer works within the sewing department to produce finished goods for stock replenishment and customer orders. Responsibilities include sewing, cutting, reeving, stenciling, packaging, and inspecting products to ensure quality and accuracy. Team members are expected to support a positive workplace culture and uphold company safety standards and core values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Participate in safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with work orders.
- Read and understand bills of materials, routing instructions, and production drawings.
- Operate or learn sewing machines (1”, 2”, and 3”), reeving machines, cutting equipment, and stenciling equipment.
- Meet daily productivity and production goals established by Leads or Supervisors.
- Ensure customer and stock orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Communicate production issues and assist with corrective actions and problem-solving.
- Support company policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-train in other operational departments as needed.
- Complete daily production documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 12 months of related manufacturing or sewing experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness to learn sewing and production processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
