Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using a lift truck or reach truck
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to meet production goals
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Previous experience operating a forklift or similar heavy equipment is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
