Job Title: Electronic Technician

Schedule: 6am-6pm swing shift

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components, machinery, and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with servo drives/motors, PLCs, and preventive maintenance, along with strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain servo drives, motors, machinery, and vision systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Lay out, build, test, and modify electronic components, parts, and equipment
- Work safely with voltages from 0–480V
- Troubleshoot Ethernet/EtherCAT communication issues
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and PLC programs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Moller)
- Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic circuits, PID controllers, PMA controllers, and robotics (MotoMan)
- Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Follow safety practices including 5S, Lockout/Tagout, and Hazardous Waste procedures
- Use measurement devices accurately for testing and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in a related field, or 2–4 years of related industry experience (or equivalent combination)
- Strong understanding of electricity, sensors, safety switches, relays, motors, and vision systems
- Experience with ASI Bus and ProfiBus systems preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, plant safety, and quality/environmental standards is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
