Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced EDM Operator for a key client in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. This is a 2nd shift position that will be in the Mason, OH area.
Responsibilities for EDM Operator:
- Analyze and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Operate multiple EDM machines as needed.
- Disassemble, clean, and rebuild tooling after production runs.
- Utilize knowledge of rotary/linear axes and G and M codes.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and borescopes.
- Perform basic arithmetic with decimals.
- Document actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
Requirements for EDM Operator:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in operation, machining, or manufacturing required.
- Ability to perform high school-level math.
- Must be a United States Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.
- Regularly lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds.
- Routinely reach, twist, bend, and grasp to move and set tools, equipment, and materials.
