A leading commercial printing facility is seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating foil and die-cutting machines, ensuring high-quality production while meeting customer and company expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: $24 - $27 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift: 2nd Shift (Typically 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM)
- Overtime and weekends as needed
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate foil and die-cutting machines (Kluge experience preferred)
- Ensure quality control standards are met for all printed materials
- Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, and routine maintenance on machines
- Maintain accurate production records and data collection
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience operating foil/die-cutting machines in a commercial printing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills (PSI knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
- Capable of prolonged sitting, standing, and walking
- Experience with setting up chases, feeder/string foil, and register foil
- Ability to perform make-readies and troubleshoot machine issues
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
