Precision staffing is seeking a Coil Winding Technician to be placed at a well-known electrical equipment supplier. As the Coil Winding Technician, you will be responsible for winding copper and other coils around transformers. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Apply Now!!!

Opportunity to build a career in the electrical equipment industry. You will be trained to perform a variety of desirable skillsets including welding, winding, machine operating, and basic electrical tech from a passionate, qualified, and talented team.

  • Pay: $17-19 per hour
  • Shift: Mon-Fri
  • Hours: 6:30am-4:00pm or 7:00am-4:30pm
  • Location: Madisonville, OH 45227

RESPONSIBILITIES OF COIL WINDING TECHNICIAN

  • Work from the engineer’s blueprints, design sheets, drawings, & specifications.
  • Set up winding machines and build winding bridges and risers used in disc windings.
  • Recognize conductor pressure points and how to insulate these areas.
  • Repair coils of any type and size at various stages of manufacture.

QUALIFICATIONS OF COIL WINDING TECHNICIAN

  • High School Degree/GED required.
  • Have a minimum knowledge of basic math & must pass an Industrial Math Assessment.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Able to lift to 50lbs.
