Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Technologist to join our team for assignments across the U.S. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in diverse healthcare environments, contribute to patient care, and develop professionally in the field of radiology.
Position Details:
- Primary Location: Midlothian, VA (other locations available)
- Additional Regions: Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and Nebraska
- START: 1/6/25
- Shift: 32 Hours - M-Th 11P-7A
- Schedule: 1 or 2 Call shifts during the assignment
- Unit: RN PCU/Stepdown Unit 1W, 33 beds
- Screening likely by unit manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a CT Technologist (travel experience not required)
- 2 years Radiology experience preferred
- VA Radiology License
- BLS certification, ARRT-CI
- Epic experience preferred
- GE Scanner experience preferred
- Has fairly detailed level of knowledge of a Radiology/CT modality and Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of multi-step procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Administer contrast agents as necessary, following protocol and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other medical staff to provide accurate imaging support for diagnosis and treatment
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control
- Provide clear instructions and explanations to patients, addressing any concerns they may have
