We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong background in MasterCAM software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in programming CNC machines to produce high-quality, precision parts. This role involves generating and optimizing machine code, selecting machining strategies, and collaborating with machine operators to ensure efficient, precise production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machines using MasterCAM software to model cutting paths and determine machine movements.
- Optimize cutting paths and machine settings to improve productivity while ensuring high quality.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and parameters based on material requirements.
- Review part drawings, sketches, and designs to determine dimensions, configurations, and machining strategies.
- Compute dimensions, radii, and angles and outline the sequence of operations for accurate machining.
- Create instruction sheets and cutter lists for machine setup and operation.
- Write and adjust machine code to guide machine movements along cutting paths.
- Collaborate with machine operators to troubleshoot and optimize machine programming.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in CNC programming with expertise in MasterCAM software.
- Strong attention to detail and skill in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or logistical issues efficiently.
- Capability to work independently while closely following instructions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and oral).
