Precision Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a key client on their 2nd shift team in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and fabricating parts to precise specifications.
Responsibilities of CNC Operator:
- Operate CNC lathe, mill or grinding machines
- Analyze and interpret operational sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products meeting customer specifications.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools.
- Maintain knowledge of CNC principles, G and M codes, and rotary/linear axes.
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as needed.
- Interpret CMM reports and adjust machine dimensions accordingly.
- Perform deburring operations within specified tolerances.
- Operate overhead cranes when necessary.
- Use heat shrink machines to set tools.
Requirements for CNC Operator:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC Machines (Lathe, Mill, or Grinder)
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
- Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident
