Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a key client in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. This is a 2nd shift position that will be in the Mason, OH area.
Responsibilities for CNC Machinist:
- Follow machine alignment and calibration procedures.
- Install/uninstall fixtures and load/unload parts.
- Set up ancillary equipment and run CNC programs.
- Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform prep, wash, and deburr operations.
- Inspect and clean laser optics.
- Use measuring tools to verify workpiece conformance.
- Read and interpret CMM data.
- Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, seeking assistance as needed.
- Periodically operate an overhead crane.
Qualifications for CNC Machinist:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of laser experience required.
- Basic mechanical and mathematical skills related to machining/manufacturing.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must have 20/20 vision (corrected) and pass an annual vision test.
- Lift, push, and pull 35 pounds.
