Binding Machine Operator
- Shift: 2nd Shift (typically 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm)
- Location: Monroe, Ohio
- Pay Range: $18/hr - $24/hr
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate binding machines to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a team environment.
- Set up and operate various book sizes and perform troubleshooting on binding equipment.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on binding machines.
- Keep accurate production records and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operating binding equipment in a print environment.
- Ability to multitask and follow both written and oral instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge (PSI experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills to relay job specifics between shifts.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Must also be able to push/pull loaded carts.
