Accounting Team Lead-Direct Hire

Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead for a key client in the Woodlawn area. This client specializes in EMS billing services. The Accounting Team Lead will play a crucial role in the success of the Medical Payment Posting Team.

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p
• Location: Hybrid role/ In office Tuesday - Thursday/ Remote Mondays and Fridays
• Pay: $21-$24 per hour (based on experience) + Quarterly Bonuses
• Perks: Sign on bonus and retention bonus

Responsibilities of Accounting Team Lead:

• Supervision of payment posters on and off site and payment posting processes.
• Perform various accounts receivable and payable functions.
• End of month reconciliation of invoices.
• Gather payment information from various methods.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits.
• Review and correct any payment posting errors.
• Issue refunds on patient accounts.
• Assess bad debt and work closely with outside collection agencies.

Experience Required for Accounting Team Lead:

• 2+ years prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Excel experience with Pivot tables, and formulas
• 3+ years in medical payment posting
• Previous experience with Quick books
• Knowledge of cash receipts, reconciliation and remittance posting
• Must have medical reimbursement knowledge
