Job Description
Precision Staffing is seeking an experience Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This position is with a well-respected company located in the Miamisburg, OH area.
Summary for Accounting Manager:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for creating, reviewing and recording transactions, and reconciling account balances. A successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze transactions, balances, and financial reports.
Responsibilities for Accounting Manager:
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.
- Produce error-free accounting reports.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Manage A/R and A/P specialists as well as an Accounting Assistant.
- Assist with external audits, income taxes and acquisition accounting.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
Requirements for Accounting Manager:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant preferred.
- Proven experience as a controller, manager or accounting supervisor.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and understanding of GAAP
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
