RESPONSIBILITIES OF ACCOUNTING MANAGER
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.
- Produce error-free accounting reports.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Manage A/R and A/P specialists as well as an Accounting Assistant.
- Assist with external audits, income taxes and acquisition accounting.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
QUALIFICATIONS OF ACCOUNTING MANAGER
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant preferred.
- Proven experience as a controller, manager, or accounting supervisor.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and understanding of GAAP Required!
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
