We are a thriving, family-owned kitchen design company experiencing rapid growth, and we are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Sales/Design Consultant to join our team. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in cabinet design, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating professionally with builders, interior designers, general contractors, and customers while ensuring the successful execution of kitchen design projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities of the Sales/Design Representative:
- Utilize your cabinet design expertise and creative flair to collaborate with clients and create stunning kitchen designs that meet their unique requirements and preferences.
- Professionally communicate with builders, interior designers, general contractors, and customers, ensuring that all interactions are courteous, tactful, and client-focused.
- Demonstrate the ability to read blueprints effectively to translate design concepts into actionable plans.
- Manage the entire project life cycle, including designing, selling, ordering, and overseeing projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct precise measurements and record dimensions for floor plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of pricing multipliers and lead times, aiding in effective project budgeting and scheduling.
- Familiarize yourself with our product lines and expertly present and sell them to clients, showcasing their unique features and benefits.
Requirements of the Sales/Design Representative:
- 4+ years of cabinet design/sales experience, demonstrating a successful track record in kitchen design projects.
- Proficiency in using design software and Microsoft programs to develop captivating design presentations.
- A portfolio showcasing your creativity, design skills, and ability to meet client needs effectively.
- Precise measurement skills and acute attention to detail in floor plan creation.
- Familiarity with pricing multipliers and lead times to support accurate budgeting and project timelines.
Salary: $55,000 per year
