Precision Staffing is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for all shifts within the greater Cincinnati area.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Technicians:
- Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
- Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
- Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
- Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good working knowledge of PLC and CNC programming and troubleshooting (preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits and test equipment (e.g. multimeters, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.)
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics with the ability to troubleshoot and program.
- Knowledge of welding and simple fabrication (preferred)
- Knowledge of machine control circuits and understanding of schematics.
