Precision Staffing is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join a well-known company that specializes in constructing overhead cranes and has over 12 locations throughout the US. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

SUMMARY FOR SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST:

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) focuses on an organization’s financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with prior experience in a construction or POC environment. This role requires advanced strategic thinking and communication skills, as the Senior FP&A role often collaborates closely with senior leadership and reports directly to the CFO.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST:

• Overseeing the development of financial models for budgeting and forecasting
• Continuously improve forecasting process and accuracy
• Lead preparation of bank reporting and covenant compliance analysis.
• Act as subject matter expert for financial planning and reporting software application (TBD) driving improved report automation and KPI tracking through system and process enhancements.
• Review financial performance with business leaders in order to understand variances to historical data, budgets and forecasts.
• Identifying trends and making recommendations for financial optimization
• Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Presenting financial data and strategies to senior management
• Works closely with CFOs to develop metrics and variance analysis of actual results
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• M&A business case, due diligence, and integration participation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST:

• Minimum of seven years of accounting or finance related experience in the construction industry and/or private equity.
• MBA and CPA or CMA preferred
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
• Demonstrated abilities in working within PowerBI or similar applications and FP&A software.
• Strong data and analytical skills.
