Technical Support Specialist
Temp to Perm Opportunity Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related issues to our client computer systems, servers, software, security and network infrastructure. Responsible for running diagnostic programs, isolates problems, determines and implements solutions. This is a full-time position which is a combination of help-desk and field support services.
Primary responsibilities for Technical Support Specialist:
*Provide technical assistance and support for incoming requests and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
*Respond to issues and requests through trouble tickets. Technical assistance is provided via phone and remote-control sessions to resolve the reported issue.
*Take ownership of the problem-solving process to resolution or escalation
*Run diagnostic programs to resolve issues
*Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
*Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
*Maintain daily, performance of computer systems and networks.
*Install, modify, and repair computer systems and networks.
*Server cleanup and maintenance to ensure performance
*Installation of switches and firewalls and management of devices
*Onsite work for projects and issues requiring hands on troubleshooting.
*Knowledge of Office 365 tenant and email migrations (not such the software).
*Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems required (Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)
*Knowledge of Server Operating System (Server 2008 through Server 2019)
*Knowledge and or certifications a plus --Microsoft --HP Enterprise --HP Systems --HP Networking --Sonic Wall --Ubiquiti Wireless
