Summary: performs basic to complex configurations and integrates electronic and mechanical hardware with software products to meet the functional criteria of customer specifications. Programming includes robotic programming (Fanuc preferred) and PLC / HMI program modification for automated systems  


Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Create, write and optimize robotic programs (Fanuc preferred)
  2. Optimize PLC and HMI programs.
  3. Ensure proper documentation is completed for all modifications to the original design.
  4. Assists with the assembly of special projects, upgrades, or retrofits
  5. At all times ensures work area is clean and orderly.
  6. Performs ordering and expediting materials for projects and customer service orders.
  7. Requires travel to customer site; locally, out-of-state and out of country.
  8. Ensures all activities are done safely and follows procedures and guidelines when working in a production environment.
  9. Continuously reviews current processes and procedures that make it easy for internal/external customers to do business with department/division.
  10. Ensures processes and procedures allow efficiency in work performed.
  11. Based on business need, assists, supports and/or performs other job functions within department or other work area’s within scope and ability.
  12. Responsible for maintaining current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through continuous development. Progressive development of skills should be cultivated through further education, seminars, company training and other external resources such as reading material.


  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering field and/or equivalent experience in education and training.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in programming robotic systems and troubleshooting of control systems.
  • Have strong working knowledge and experience of; Allen Bradley PLC, and HMI, etc.
